The Prefect of the Paphos Electoral District Giorgos Chrysafinis proceeded at 1:00 p.m. to announce as elected the Presidents and Members of Community Councils without an opponent in the Electoral District of Paphos. In the electoral district, 29 community leaders were declared unopposed and 27 members of communities who did not have an opponent.
Phyti - Kyriakos Sotiriou was declared Community Leader and Iakovos Alexandrou, Tamazi Antiasvili, Christakis Sotiriou and Ioanna Christodoulou were members of the Board of Directors.
Chouli - Ilias Savva was declared community leader and members of the council Michalis Vassilis, Omiros Gavriel, Kyriakou Savva and Giannakis Charalambous.
Psathi - Evagoras Euripidou, Christoforos Kolios, Konstantinos Constantinou and Dimitris Tilley were elected as members of the council.
Trachypedoula - Giannakis Ioannou was elected community leader and Marios Yagou, Chrystalla Theodorou, Charalambos Perikleous and George Petridis were elected members.
Tremithousa - Christofis Petrou was elected community leader and members were Charalambos Konstantinou, Chrysostomos Makris, Iason Neophytou, Evangelia Petrou, Sotiris Charalambous and Maria Hatzichristodoulou.
Filousa Kelokedaron - Andreas Andreou was elected community leader and members were Zoitsa Alexandrou, Marinos Michalakis, Giorgos Nikolaidis and Christodoulos N. Christodoulou.
Filousa Chrysochous - Adoulla Constantinou was declared community leader, and Maroula Zaloumi, Andreas Leventis as members.
Mesogi - Nikolaos Aresti was declared the leader of the community.
Milia - Nikolaos Grigoriou was declared community leader and Stefani Anastasiou, Charalambos Grigoriou, Antonios Theodosiou and Maria Talattini as members.
Miliou - Evanthia Chrysanthou was elected community leader and members were Irini Kondemeniotis, Iakovos Papaloukas, George Charilaou and Christakis Christodoulou.
Mousere - Ioanna Meletiou was declared community leader, and Giannakis Meletiou, Christiana Michael and Elisavet Phaidonos were members.
Nikokleia - Vasiliki Kanari was declared the leader of the community and Giannakis Kanari, Irini Michael, Evdoxia Panagiotou and Stavros Papagathokleus were members.
Polemi - Dimitriou Konstantinos, Ioannou Haris, Nikos Kalogirou, Nikoforou Spyros, Papapolydorou Polydoros Christos Christakis were declared members.
Prasteio - Ariadni Karagiannis was declared community leader and Ioannis Karagiannis, Kostas Karagiannis, Marina Karagiannis and Androulla Christodoulou as members.
Skouli - Petros Christodoulou was declared community leader and Stavros Stavrou, Christodoulos Stylianou, George Sokratous and Nikos Christodoulou as members.
Steni - Ilias Lampidis was declared community leader and Michalakis Kotzas, Alexis Kountouriotis, Michael Panagiotis and Christakis Christofi as members.
Mesana - Pericles Masakaris was declared the leader of the community.
Kritou Marotou - Leonidas Papaspyrou was declared the leader of the community, and Periklis Theodorou, Andreas Sofroni, Niki Frixou and Vassos Christou as members.
Lemba - Thukididis Chrysostomou was declared community leader and Andreas Georgiou, Evroula Evripidou, Efstathios Efstathiou, Emmanuella Zonia and Sofia Theodosiou as members.
Lysos - Giannakis Georgiou, Iosif Iosif, Christakis Rouvanias and Dimitrios Triphyllis were declared members.
Drynia - Christakis Georgiou was declared community leader and Andreas Vassiliou, Christodoulos Ttoulis, Electra Charalambous and Panagiotis Charalambous were members.
Eledio - Costas Zenonos, George Papasavva, Savvas Papasavva and Kyros Pilakouris were declared members.
Kidasi - Irini Varelia was declared community leader and members were Irini Vorkas, Ireneos Vorkas, Christos Vorkas and Giannoula Palaska.
Kourdaka - Kostas Christodoulou was declared community leader and Nikos Georgiou and Kyriakoula Christodoulou as members.
Agia Varvara - Petros Tsiakkouris was declared community leader and members were Galatea Andreou, Andreas Kallis, Nikos Papasavva and Haris Sotiriou.
Agia Marina Kelokedaron - Marios Stylianou was declared community leader.
Agios Ioannis - Georgios Gavriel was declared community leader and Iakovos Kyriakou, Panikos Kyriakou, Ilias Sergiou and Antonis Stylianou as members.
Kato Akourdaleia - Vladimiros Theodosiou was declared community leader and Marinos Ioannidis, Xanthi Petridis, Byron Sofokleous and Iris Taliadorou as members.
Pano Akourdaleia - Elisavet Pafiti was declared community leader and Georgios Rousounidis a member.
Arminou, - Marios Giannaki was declared the leader of the community.
Archimandrite - Christodoulos Neocleous was declared community leader.
Asprogia - Angela Charalambous Georgiou was declared the leader of the community.
Drymou - Sokratis Sokratous was declared the leader of the community and Alcibiades Alcibiados, Dimitris Aristodemou, Aristotelis Paparistodemou and Dimitris Tzavellas were members.
The Superintendent of the Electoral District of Paphos reported that on April 29, 2024, the day of submission of nominations for election to the office of community leader/member of the K.S. of the following Communities of Paphos District and after the expiry of the deadline for other nominations and the examination of any objections submitted in accordance with article 24 of the Law on Communities, only the candidates whose names mentioned above have been proposed . For this, Mr. Chrysafinis continued, "I declare the above-mentioned candidates to be elected to the office of Community Leader/Member of the Community Council of the following Communities of Paphos District.
