The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) warmly welcomes Ryanair's decision to resume scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv for summer 2024.
According to a relevant announcement by Ryanair, flights to and from Tel Aviv will resume on June 3, 2024, initially with 4 incoming flights weekly to Paphos International Airport, due to the reopening of Terminal 1 at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport.
The above routes come to reinforce the already very important and beneficial routes included in Ryanair's flight programs in 2024 and are expected to give a further boost to the economy and attract visitors.
ETAP notes that there is now a prospect of mitigating losses from the Israeli market and, depending on the demand, flight programs may be further strengthened. In 2023, Ryanair operated up to 17 inbound flights per week to Paphos, while losses in the first five months of 2024 are estimated at around 100,000 visitors to Cyprus.
