The circumstances of a fatal road collision that occurred at dawn yesterday, Monday, April 8, on the Nicosia-Palaichori road, are being investigated by the Nicosia Traffic Police.
According to the evidence under investigation, a car driven by an unknown person, under circumstances that are being investigated, collided with the rear of a tanker vehicle.
Inside the road, the body of an unknown man was found, with investigators investigating whether the person in question was also the driver of the car.
The cause of death and the identification of the deceased person's data (DNA method) will be ascertained after the legal autopsy, which will take place today, at Nicosia General Hospital.
