Residents of the Kissonerga area are organizing a peaceful protest event on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 5:00 in the afternoon at Kissonerga Square, expressing their opposition to the catastrophic – as they claim – alteration of the area with the creation of a futsal field attempted by the outgoing community council in the square – old stadium of the community.
The Initiative Group for the Preservation of the Site invites the Kissonergites to be dynamically present at the gathering. This particular place – as they say in an announcement – is sacred to every resident, it is the history of the village and must be preserved in every way.
