The mayor of Pafos announced that the aim of the municipal authority is to expand the Markideion theatre to create an additional 200 seats.
Speaking at the presentation last night of the musical-theatrical performance Jukebox by the philharmonic orchestra of the Municipality of Pafos and the Petrideion Foundation, he referred to the necessity of expanding the Markideion Theatre.
"We have some plots under expropriation for compensation that may have displeased some of our fellow citizens, but our goal is to expand the Markideion Municipal Theatre from 414 seats to 620 seats, with the construction of corridors."
