Work has begun on the construction of a roundabout at the entrance of Emba. In recent years, there have been very serious road accidents, even fatal ones, and the residents of the area have been demanding for many years measures to reduce road accidents.
The roundabout is being constructed on Embas Avenue, the road that connects the community with the city of Paphos, at its junction with Dimitraki Adamou and Christou Keli streets. Its construction was a long-standing request of the Community Council of Emba and a request of the residents of the two communities, according to MP Charalambos Pazaros who had taken the initiative to coordinate the various services and departments involved.
"There was a delay due to the procedures that had to be followed, but very soon the danger of the road will be eliminated. The delivery is placed next July. I thank once again the President of the Community and K. S. Embas, the Director of Pafos Public Works and the Head of the Pafos Traffic Police for all the cooperation we had."
