The Municipality of Pafos announced that as of today, in order to restore traffic, facilitate pedestrian movement and for the proper functioning of the wider area of the traditional centre of Pafos, Renou, Galatea, Nikos Antoniadis, Ermou and part of Pallados Street will be given for immediate use by the public.
These roads complete, together with the main arteries of Gladstonos and Metropolitan Nikodimou Mylonas, the construction works in Section B of the Municipality's project "Regeneration of the traditional core of the Anavargo District and the southern area of the traditional commercial centre of Pafos".
The pavement works of Pygmalionos Street and at the dead end of Pallados Street will continue with a view to their completion and the opening of these sections early next week. Today, works will be carried out to implement the permanent markings along the entire length of the project, without obstructing traffic.
The Pafos Municipality apologises to those affected for any inconvenience that may be caused.
