A yellow warning for severe thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office.
In particular, isolated strong storms are expected to initially affect the western half of the island and progressively the rest of the areas. Hail is expected to fall in thunderstorms while winds may change and strengthen. The intensity of rain is expected to range between 5 and 55 millimeters per hour.
The warning will be in effect from 22:00 tonight until 17:00 tomorrow.

Low pressure begins to affect the area. In the atmosphere, until Wednesday, dust will be observed intermittently.
Today the weather will be mostly cloudy with medium and high clouds, which are later expected to give local, mainly light, rain, possibly accompanied by thunder. The winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 and temporarily moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 19 degrees in the interior, around 21 degrees on the coast and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be mostly cloudy and isolated showers are expected, while locally showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected from midnight onwards. Hail may also fall in a thunderstorm. The winds will blow mainly north to northeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transiently in the east and southeast coasts until strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent, and later locally a little turbulent to turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees in the interior, and on the north coast, around 15 on the east and west coasts, around 13 on the rest of the coasts and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will be partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy and localised showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected.
The temperature will gradually drop until Thursday, to fluctuate close to average climatic values, while on Friday no significant change is expected
