Weak low pressure affects the area.
Tonight, locally increased clouds will be observed, which later may give isolated showers, mainly in the west and north. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak, 3 Beaufort and transiently on the windward coast to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain a little turbulent in the east and a little turbulent on the rest of the coast. The temperature will drop to around 6 degrees in the interior, around 9 degrees on the coast and 1 degree in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.
Tomorrow, locally increased clouds will be observed initially, mainly in the western half of the island, where isolated rains are expected. Gradually, however, the weather will become cloudy at times, with localised showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. Hail is expected to fall in a thunderstorm, while on the highest peaks of Troodos, snow or sleet may fall. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, initially weak, 3 Beaufort and gradually to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, while on the windward coast, temporarily moderate will blow, 4 Beaufort. The sea in the east will be calm to a little turbulent, however on the rest of the coast it will be a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 17 degrees in the interior, around 18 degrees on the coast and 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tomorrow evening, the weather will be partly cloudy and in places mostly cloudy, while isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, especially in areas in the north, interior and east. Hail may fall in a thunderstorm, while snow or sleet is likely to fall on the highest peaks of Troodos.The winds will blow mainly west to northwest and later locally to northeast, weak to moderate and locally, temporarily moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The temperature until Wednesday is not expected to change significantly and will continue to fluctuate near and slightly above the average climatic values for the season.
