The significant problem of burglaries and thefts in Paphos is of great concern to the Police Department of the district. Although Paphos is not plagued as heavily as other areas by organised and serious crime, the problem of burglaries and thefts has become a scourge.
For this reason, according to our information, the leadership of the Pafos Police Department now has on the table of staffing other patrols of the Pafos Police, which will be exclusively responsible for dealing with burglaries and thefts. These teams will deal on a permanent basis with the scourge, as it develops in Paphos, of burglaries and thefts in an effort to address the phenomenon immediately and crucially.
According to the plan, these additional patrols will begin their action in the city of Pafos immediately, wanting, among other things, to make clear their presence and their specialized engagement with the issue, sending messages in all directions, especially after the increased and serious incidents observed during the last months.
