After the thefts of chapels in Kato Paphos, unknown persons also broke into the church of Agia Paraskevi in the center of Geroskipou.
The attackers broke a window of the church located in the square and stole money and other valuables.

The Pafos Police proceeded with the arrest of a person who is under trial in the central prison in order to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of residential burglary and theft in Kato Paphos.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director of Operations, Michalis Nicolaou, the theft case had been reported on September 17 last year by the owner of the house. A mobile phone and jewellery worth a total of 810 euros had been stolen.
Nicolaou said that for the above case, testimony emerged against a specific person against whom an arrest warrant was issued.
This person is under trial in the central prison.

An air gun, a number of rounds of ammunition and factory firecrackers were found and confiscated yesterday, during a search of the apartment of a 23-year-old man in Limassol. The 23-year-old was arrested for a flagrant offence and taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
Specifically, as part of an investigation into information about illegal possession of weapons and drugs, members of the Police conducted a search last night at the apartment of the 23-year-old.
During the search, an air gun, a bag containing 13 full rounds of ammunition, 6.65mm caliber and unknown black substance, and a cardboard box containing 20 factory firecrackers were located and confiscated.
As a result, the 23-year-old was arrested for a flagrant offence and taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
The ICF Limassol is investigating the case.

A 49-year-old man was arrested on Saturday night in Nicosia after having stolen a garage door.
The incident was uncovered when the garage door’s owner said he heard a “loud noise”, and upon looking out of the window of his house, saw a man carrying his garage door towards a van.
The garage door’s owner the confronted the thief, before calling the police.
Police then searched the van, finding “a number of” air conditioner compressors, two air conditioning units, two windows, and a small door.
They said the thief “did not give satisfactory explanations as to how they came into his possession.”
He was arrested and is expected to appear before the Nicosia District court on Sunday to be remanded.
