Pafos Press 8 January 2024
Weak low pressure prevails in the region, while a low barometric pressure centred on the Italian peninsula, moves eastward and begins to affect us, mainly from tomorrow afternoon onwards, reports the Department of Meteorology.
Today, the weather will be mostly cloudy with medium clouds, while at intervals, local low clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated, mostly light rain, especially in areas in the west and north. In the atmosphere, fine dust may be suspended from time to time.
In the evening, increased high clouds will continue to appear, however, locally increased low and medium clouds will be observed at intervals, which are expected to give isolated rain, mainly in the western and northwestern parts of the island. Later and during the morning hours, it is not excluded that thin fog will form in places, especially in areas in the east.
