Projects costing approximately €150 million are expected to be executed in Polis Chrysochous over the next five years, according to an announcement by Polis Chrysochous Mayor Yiotis Papachristofis.
Specifically, the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous refers to the sewerage, the works at the Port of Latchi, the nuclei of Polis Chrysochous and Prodromiou, the tourist road from the municipal beach, the hospital, the camping site, the area of Natoura to Limni, the road Latchi – Neo Chorio, the warehouse project, the third phase of the expansion of the port in Latchi, the project for the promotion of archaeological sites, and the linear park.
According to the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous, it is planned to organize a pan-municipal gathering on February 9, in the context of which the work of the local authority during the seven years he has served as Mayor will be presented.
Mr. Papachristofi noted that throughout the seven years he had excellent cooperation with the state services. He also pointed out that the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous is planning a meeting with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, in order to inform him about the projects of the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous.
