The Mayor of Pafos, Mr. Phedon Phedonos and the General Manager of the contractor Blue Sun Automation Ltd signed today the contract for the supply and installation of five (5) advanced contactless machines for the payment of the parking fee to the Municipality of a total cost, €43,000 plus VAT.
According to a relevant announcement by the Municipality of Pafos, this contract aims to enhance the technological infrastructure of parking spaces, thus facilitating the automated and effective management of parking spaces.
These machines will be integrated into the existing smart parking system of the Municipality and users will be able to pay contactless using their credit card or NFC technology.
These machines increase the options for paying the parking fee to users, from the already existing payment methods of the PafosNow application and SMS text message, thus limiting the number of users who did not pay the parking fee.
