Maintenance works on the Paphos – Limassol (A6) and Limassol – Paphos (A6) motorways will be carried out in both lanes during the period January 29 to March 21, 2024, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:30 in the morning of the following day, except Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to the Department of Public Works.
In an announcement of the Department, which is transmitted by the PIO, it is stated that during the execution of the works, traffic will be channelled from adjacent exits.
Also, from Monday 29 January until Friday 9 February, 2024, between the hours of 08:30 – 15:00, works will be carried out for the construction of an emergency crossing on the Limassol – Nicosia motorway next to the Kalavasos Bridge, for the needs of the "Upgrade / Repair of the Kalavasos Bridge".
"During the execution of the works, the expressways will be closed in both directions of the motorway, along a length of 200m. approximately, and traffic will be diverted to the slow lanes," it said.
It is added that on Monday, between the hours of 12:00 – 13:00 noon, there will be a short traffic stop on the Nicosia – Troodos intercity road in the Atsa area, near the village of Koutrafa, due to works.
The Department of Public Works calls on the public to "demonstrate the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police".
