With traditional splendour, the Holy Epiphany will be celebrated in the city of Pafos. The Divine Liturgy and the Great Blessing of the Epiphany will be celebrated at the Church of Agioi Anargyroi, headed by the Metropolitan of Pafos Mr. Tychikos and in the presence of the Authorities of the city and District of Pafos. Government Spokesman Mr. Konstantinos Letympiotis will attend on behalf of the Government.
Then, around 09.30, the traditional procession will be formed which will end at the Port of Kato Pafos, where on the central pier the Blessing of the Waters will be performed by the Metropolitan of Pafos with the diving of the Holy Cross. The procession will be accompanied by the Pafos Municipality Philharmonic and part of the National Guard.
The procession will pass through Agapinoros, Ikarou, Konstantias, Clytemnestras, Agia Anastasia and Alkminis streets and through Poseidonos and Apostolou Pavlou Avenues will end at the pier at Limanaki. Traffic will be stopped on every road before the arrival of the procession and will resume after it has passed.
The following spaces will be available for the parking of vehicles: precinct of the Church of Agioi Anargyroi, stadium of the 6th Primary School, Parking of the Archaeological Park and space behind the buildings of the Cyprus Ports Authority.
The drivers of the vehicles are kindly requested to faithfully apply the emergency and other traffic regulations to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
