From the first day of 2024, the SODAP beaches in Kato Paphos and Latchi Municipal Beach, in Polis Chrysochou, are approved for winter swimming, but nevertheless remain without lifeguards, thus endangering the lives of bathers.
This is stated in an intervention by the MP for Pafos of DIKO, Chrysanthos Savvides, who asks the Ministry of Interior, the District Administration and the two municipal authorities, to proceed with the immediate recruitment of lifeguards.
These beaches must be staffed all year round for the immediate safety of citizens, Mr. Savvidis emphasizes in his performances.
