MOUTALLOS STADIUM TO BECOME MODERN SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE
At a cost of €423,000 the Municipality of Pafos turns the Muttalos Stadium into a modern sports infrastructure project. The Muttalos neighbourhood is a center for sports development
The Municipality of Paphos strengthens its infrastructure and services to citizens in the sensitive field of sports with a significant impact on improving the quality of life.
The contracts were signed on behalf of the Municipality of Paphos by the Mayor Mr. Fidonas Fidonos and on behalf of the contracting companies Milliams Electrical Contractors Ltd the manager Mr. Evros Costa, Agagrand Construction Ltd the director Mr. Mr. Aptulrahim Alhaprat and "GASPE" Technical Works Company Ltd. Andreas Papasavvas.
Maintenance works include significant improvements in various parts of the Stadium, aiming to improve its general condition and level of security.
Specifically, in the Competition 104/2020 "Maintenance Works of the Muttalos Stadium - Electrical Works", the subject of the Agreement is the maintenance of the four lighting columns and the replacement of lighting fixtures in each of them. Works include new electrical installation and studies (electrical and photometric) to achieve minimum technical specifications.
The contractor is Milliams Electrical Contractors Ltd with the amount of the contract amounting to € 34,900 now F. P. A.
In the tender 103/20 “Maintenance works of the Muttalos Stadium - Construction works” the subject of the Agreement is the maintenance of the three pre-constructed buildings located within the MuttalOs Stadium. Works include removal and installation of a new waterproofing system on roofs of three prefabricated buildings with asphalt film, maintenance - painting of all metal surfaces, complete external insulation system of all walls etc. The contractor is Agagrand Construction Ltd with a contract amount of € 32,900, now F. P. A.
In the Competition 102/2020 "Muttalos Stadium Maintenance Works - Replacement of synthetic turf and maintenance/replacement of irrigation system", the subject of the Agreement is the replacement of existing turf with “FIFA Quality” synthetic turf, and the repair and/or replacement of the existing automatic irrigation system including the a system post-touching.
The contractor is the company "GASPE" Technical Projects Company Ltd. The amount of the contract is now € 288,000 F. P. A.
The total amount of the three contracts amounts to € 355,800 now F. P. A. The duration of execution of the object of the contract for synthetic turf is four months and of the other two contracts one month from the start date of work.
