A 15-year-old Syrian unaccompanied refugee hosted at the juvenile facility in the Tombs of the Kings area in Kato Paphos was injured in the lower limbs last night when he jumped into the void from his first-floor apartment.
The 15-year-old was taken by ambulance to Paphos Hospital where it was found that he suffered ankle pain and is expected to be discharged today.
The teenager told police that minutes earlier he had heard heated discussions outside his apartment and feared people were planning to attack him.
