The absolutely successful campaign of the Pafos Traffic Police for zero fatalities on the roads of the province during the Christmas days, will also be the beacon for similar action of the members of the force during these New Year's days so that the celebrations can end in Pafos as beautifully as they began.
So far, the festive season is progressing smoothly from this point of view, with the exception of the serious car accident that occurred on Christmas Day at the height of Stroumpi-Tsada. The officials of the Pafos Directorate are intensifying their efforts to prevent joy from turning into pain and mourning for some of our compatriots.
The intensification of Pafos Traffic Police checks from early Christmas Eve has resulted in tragic incidents relating to road traffic being absent from the police bulletin so far and less serious ones being kept to a minimum. These checks continue intensively on both the primary and secondary road network of the Pafos district in order to prevent the action of those unscrupulous drivers responsible for causing the accidents.
