The organized fans of Apollon who entered the pitch of "Alphamega Stadium" on Sunday night, after the end and defeat of their team, in the match of the 15th matchday of the Championship, between Apollon – Nea Salamina, are being attempted to identify and locate the investigation team of the ICF of Limassol and the Episkopi Station, which has been set up for this purpose.
Another match was marked with embarrassing images and fans erupting and causing damage to the sports ground.
In the hands of the investigation team is footage from the 146 cameras of the closed circuit surveillance of the stadium which is being studied, in an effort to ascertain the details of the brainless who entered the pitch and those who dismantled and destroyed the seats.
The Police proceeded a while ago to identify 7 persons and released their photos in order to identify and locate them. The defeat of Apollon and the heavy atmosphere that had been created after the fourth consecutive home failure, caused the intense discomfort of the fans. As soon as the referee blew the whistle at the end of the game, it was then that the organized fans of the Limassol team began to dismantle the seats of the north stand and throw them inside the stadium. The Apollonists, however, did not stay until the seats were dismantled.
A portion of organized fans entered the pitch with the intention of moving towards the locker room area while others booed the team's management. The supervisors tried to push back the fans, while the Police immediately instructed the squads of the MMAD to partially enter the edge of the pitch and be ready.
However, the organized fans at the goddess of the police returned to the stands and again began to dismantle seats towards the policemen. According to "F" information from an official of the "Alphamega Stadium", Apollon fans caused damage to less than 100 seats with the amount amounting to a few thousand euros.
