Today, tenders are expected to be announced for finding a strategic consultant, who will be responsible for finding an investor for the creation of a Marina in Paphos, based on the announcements of the Deputy Minister of Tourism during a meeting he had last Friday with Pafos MP Chrysanthos Savvides.
According to what Costas Koumis has mentioned at this meeting, it is expected after today's announcement that in three months the strategic advisor will be hired and it will take about six months for him to prepare the investor selection criteria.
This new time redefinition of the major project for the district of Pafos, although it constitutes another notable delay, is gratifying, since at least it does not refer the issue to the Greek calends. Chrysanthos Savvides expressed his satisfaction during the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Tourism, as the procedures for the creation of a Marina in Pafos have been de-iced, as he said, and at last this long-term project will be put on track.
