According to the official data transmitted to the Parliament by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare following a question by AKEL MP Mr. Nikos Kettiros, during the first half of 2023 a total of 137 persons were referred to the Social Welfare Services in search of accommodation as follows:
Paphos District – 32 persons of which 11 Cypriots, 15 Europeans and six third country nationals.
Nicosia District – 40 persons of which 19 Cypriots, ten European citizens and 11 third country nationals.
Limassol District – 58 persons of which 20 Cypriots, 19 European citizens and 19 third country nationals.
Larnaca district – three persons of which two Cypriots and one European.
Famagusta district – four persons, all European citizens.
