The contract for the provision of monitoring and detection system services for the vehicles of the Municipality of Pafos was signed
In the context of technological modernization and smart and digital governance, the Municipality of Pafos signed today November 10, 2023 at the Pafos Municipal Hall a contract with the contracting company M. T. Piperaris Trading Limited, for the purpose of providing tracking and detection system services for vehicles of the Municipality of Paphos in connection with the tender for the Ministry of Education 65/2019
With this project the Municipality of Paphos aims at the smart management of its fleet of vehicles that will contribute to controlling fuel consumption and saving them, reducing pollutant emissions, optimizing routes especially for dog carriers, limiting pointless movements, more efficient control and better organization of services, in better distribution of vehicles per service, in limiting vehicle maintenance costs, as well as preventing theft and vandalism.
The duration of execution of the subject of the contract is five (5) years and the amount of the contract amounts to € 46,200.00 plus VAT for the 77 vehicles possessed by the Municipality of Paphos.
