A traffic accident occurred at dawn in the area of Agios Antonios in Limassol.
Specifically, according to information, around 3:40 in the morning a vehicle with two occupants while moving west on Jelal Bayar Street, at some point of the road, it moved to the left of its course, climbed the pavement and hit three pedestrians, a 22-year-old man from Russia, a 23-year-old man from Lithuania and a 23-year-old woman also from Lithuania. who were sitting on the sidewalk.
The three pedestrians were taken to hospital where they were held for treatment after two from Lithuania suffered leg fractures, while the Russian suffered traumatic facial injuries after being hit by the vehicle's mirror.
The driver underwent a preliminary breathalyzer test reading 89mg instead of 22mg. He was arrested and detained at the Limassol Central Police Station.

According to initial information, at around 09:20 this morning a vehicle driven by a 62-year-old man, under circumstances that are being investigated, went off the road resulting in collision with a 22-year-old pedestrian.
Both were taken to Nicosia General Hospital, with their health status so far unknown.
