A co-ordinated campaign to prevent road accidents was carried out last night by the Paphos Police. 28 complaints were made, most of them for speeding.
According to the Police, of the 28 complaints, 16 were for speeding, and two for driving under the influence of drugs. Two persons were identified and reported for the use of scooters in unauthorised areas.
The checks also identified a person wanted for domestic violence, who has been arrested and is in custody.
