Thirteen state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly motorcycles were delivered today to the Municipality of Pafos by the company that won the relevant bidding process.
The Mayor of Pafos, Phedon Phedonos, in statements upon receiving the motorcycles, said that after 12 years the Traffic Police Service is upgrading its fleet with new technology scooters that have an ecological engine with lower fuel consumption, low exhaust emissions and reduced noise, environmentally friendly.
The motorcycles will be used by the Traffic Police Service, contributing to better policing and faster service to citizens, significantly reducing the environmental footprint of travel.
The purchase cost of thirteen motorcycles amounted to approximately €58,000.
Today's reception ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Pafos, Christos Makariou.
