The Pafos Municipality announces that today , Wednesday 2 August, construction works will begin on Anavargou Avenue and its lanes up to Aristotelis Kyriakou Street as part of the Municipality's project "Regeneration of the traditional core of the Anavargo District and the southern area of the Pafos Traditional Commercial Centre – Phase D".
This part of the project includes the removal of existing asphalt roads, earthworks for the installation of new utility and rainwater networks, paving, etc. Safe access for pedestrians to homes and businesses will be ensured throughout the execution of the works. The works are expected to be completed by the end of October 2023.
The parking area opposite the Church of Agios Georgios can be used for parking purposes by the residents. Traffic to the centre of Paphos will be via Vasilikon Street.
The Pafos Municipality looks forward to understanding those affected for any inconvenience that may be caused.
