ORANGE WEATHER WARNING

The Meteorological Service changed the warning from yellow to orange.

Specifically, the maximum temperature today will hover around 43 degrees Celsius in inland areas and around 33 degrees in the higher mountains.

The warning will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 18:00.

Detailed weather:

Seasonal low pressure and hot air mass affect the area. Dust will be observed in the atmosphere, the concentrations of which may be increased from time to time.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although increased average clouds will be observed from time to time. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally on the west coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a bit rough and locally in the west until turbulent. The temperature will rise to 43 degrees in the interior, 34 degrees on the west coast, around 36 degrees on the rest of the coasts and 33 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly northwest, weak and locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will become a little turbulent on the west and north coasts and on the rest of the coasts a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 26 degrees in the interior and coasts and to 25 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear and warm. The temperature will rise slightly on Monday, to fluctuate significantly above the average climatic values, while on Tuesday and Wednesday it will gradually drop slightly.
