The Cyprus Post informs the public that messages, sent through mobile messages (SMS) regarding tax payment to the Cyprus Post, as shown in the sample below, are fake. The Cyprus Post is not involved with these messages and urge the public to ignore them. The indicators that the public needs to make a note of, in order to establish that the SMS does not come from the Cyprus Post, areː The SMS does not link to www.cypruspost.post, which is the official website of Cyprus Post The Cyprus Post will not return a postal item or refuse to deliver it because duties/taxes have not been paid. Payments are not directed to the JCCSMART online platform, but to another internet address. (AP/ECHR)
