Police are searching for two young Syrians in connection with an attack on an 18-year-old national guard in Chloraka on Sunday night.
He had not made any complaint to the police about the incident. Police, however, asked for further evidence and information when the internet was flooded with reports of the alleged abduction of the 18-year-old by a group of Syrians who took him to a coastal area, abused him and threatened him with a knife.
The police arrested a young Syrian for spreading false news, while arrest warrants were issued for the case against two other Syrians after based on testimony obtained by the police, a group of Syrians threatened and beat the young man on the night of the incidents, but so far there has been no offense of kidnapping and abuse.
