Communities in Pafos have warmly embraced the proposal of the development company "Aphrodite" for the installation of Green Kiosks. Such kiosks have been or will be installed in the communities of Amargeti – Pomos – Kouklia – Koili – Polemi – Stroumbi – Giolou – Mandria – Argaka – Kathikas – Kelokedara – Tsada – Kallepia and Choletria.
According to the Paphos Development Agency, recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, glass, metal, small electrical appliances, batteries, lamps, clothes, books, toys and other small household items will be placed in the kiosks.
All recyclables will be transported by citizens to green kiosks and everyone should properly put each item for recycling.
With the above action, citizens of our remote communities who are not served by licensed recyclable materials companies will have the opportunity to be able to recycle their materials.
