It is reminded that fixed cameras are already in operation in the Limassol district, which control the intersection of Archbishop Makarios III and Agia Zoni avenues.

In Nicosia district, fixed cameras are also in operation, which check the intersections of the avenues:

  • Griva Digeni with Dimosthenis Severis,
  • Limassol with Armenia,
  • Prodromou with Griva Digeni,
  • Arch. Makarios III – Spyrou Kyprianou – Digeni Akrita, and
  • Strovolos with Machaira Street, in Strovolos.

It should be noted that 20 mobile cameras also operate daily throughout Cyprus.  The aim is always to reduce serious and fatal road collisions, as well as to consolidate proper road consciousness in our country.
