A different scene was seen this afternoon by the patrons of Tala Square and those passing through the main road of the community to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos and the city of Pafos. The trucks parked around the church of the Nativity of Christ the Saviour, in the central square of the community, were not there for the usual professional activities of these vehicles.
Five trucks decorated like the usual vehicles that accompany the newlyweds to church for the holy sacrament of marriage. Obviously, the groom, belonging to this professional class, had on this happiest day of his life colleagues by his side, who were present at the ceremony in a different and impressive way.
The trucks, with their characteristic white decorations on the front and back, were parked on both sides of the road, creating a unique image in anticipation of the completion of the ceremony and the escort of the newlyweds to the reception area.
They were admired, albeit puzzled, by many passers-by in this busy touring area of Pafos.
