Ten masked youths damaged smart light signs and lit a fire at the Agia Fyla roundabout in Limassol at dawn on Sunday, causing inconvenience to local residents.
According to the Deputy Spokesperson of the Limassol Police Authority, Marinos Vassiliou, as soon as they noticed the members of the Police, they fled and attacked the police officers with stones. "No one was injured in the attack."
After the incident, police conducted searches in the area, where they located a 17-year-old person, while two small motorcycles were also found. The 17-year-old will be questioned today in the presence of his father, lawyer and police officers.
As Mr. Vassiliou pointed out, police investigations to identify the persons are ongoing.
