In relation to the discussion that has been taking place in recent days on Social Media regarding the summer hunting season, the Game Service informs hunters that no changes will be made and additionally informs that fixed dates for the start of hunting seasons have been agreed with KOK & DAZ.
More specifically, it has been jointly agreed that the summer hunting season will begin on the first Sunday after August 16, so this year the summer hunting season will begin on August 20, 2023, while the hunting of epidemic game has been agreed to begin on the first Sunday of November, so this year the hunt for epidemic game, will start on 5 November 2023.
On the other hand, it is noted that what happens during the summer hunting season, such as feeding, over-harvesting and disputes between hunters about hunting posts, is something that concerns both the Game Service and DAZ and various measures are being studied and discussed in order to resolve them.
