The Primary School of Tala participated in the Erasmus+ Short-Term Plans for the Mobility of Pupils and Staff in School Education with the project "Empowering Pupils and Teachers in Digital Education" during the school year 2021 – 2023.
According to a relevant announcement by the Tala Elementary School, four mobilizations were carried out by four teachers of the school within the framework of this program.
In the first mobility, the school's teacher Maria Stylianou visited Copenhagen from 21 to 25 March 2022, where she attended the seminar "Gamification (Game Based–Learning)" of Euroteach Instıtute with a team of fifteen other teachers from Spain and Turkey.
In the second mobility, the school's teacher Antonis Antoniou visited Florence from 23 to 28 May 2022. There he attended the seminar "Photo and Video Making in your Classroom: The Educational Power of Multimedia" by Europass Teacher Academy with a team of thirteen other teachers from Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Finland.
The third mobility of the school was made by teacher Christina Lachanati, who visited Berlin from 18 to 23 July 2022. There, the teacher attended the seminar "Tablets and Smartphones: Using Mobile Devices as Educational Europass Teacher Academy Tools" with a team of seven other teachers from Cyprus, Spain, Hungary and Romania.
The fourth and final mobility was done by teacher Themelina Antoniou. She visited Rome from November 28 to December 3, 2022, where she attended the organization's "Digital Wellbeing: A New Challenge for Teachers and Students" seminar Europass Teacher Academy with 15 other teachers from all educational levels. The teachers who attended the seminar came from different countries such as Latvia, Romania, United Arab Emirates and Italy.
Finally, it is noted that the results of the seminars' work and the new knowledge were presented to the rest of the school's teachers in staff meetings, followed by the application of new knowledge in the teaching of subjects in all classes. The mobilities were fully funded by the European Erasmus+ Programme.
