New serious incidents took place for the umpteenth time between underage foreigners in the facility hosting underage foreigners, in the tourist area of the Tombs of the Kings in Kato Paphos. The reason for the new outbreak of underage foreigners was this time the notification to the girls hosted there that they would be moved to a new facility in the Larnaka area.
As explained by competent officers of the social care services, the decision was taken in the context of the planning made for the separate accommodation of minors in structures based on gender. However, the 17 girls hosted there reacted strongly, causing trouble and refusing to leave their accommodation.
In order to solve the problem, the efforts of the competent services continued from Wednesday afternoon in order to convince these people that the changes are being made for better service and safer living
