The Police announce a week of Pancyprian traffic police checks to prevent road collisions, with emphasis on driving at speeds beyond the permissible limit.
Road checks, which will be carried out by the Traffic Police Departments, will be intensified from tomorrow, Monday, April 17, 2023 until Sunday, April 23, 2023, while they will be carried out simultaneously at a pan-European level, in the framework of the cooperation of the Cyprus Police with the European Traffic Police Network ROADPOL.
During traffic checks, zero tolerance will be given to traffic offences that contribute to fatal and serious road collisions.
