The Pafos Police proceeded with 9 complaints concerning drunk driving and one for driving under the influence of drugs.
According to Pafos Police Director Nikos Tsapis, members of the Pafos Police Police carried out a coordinated operation to prevent road collisions, during which they made a total of 26 traffic complaints.
Mr. Tsapis called on drivers to observe the traffic code when using the road network. Road consciousness is gradually built and consolidated through time, he added.
He noted that the police cannot be present on every road, but they are determined with all their forces to continue to act by applying the law to protect citizens from the scourge of irresponsible driving. Every driver must drive responsibly and safely, with respect for the lives of others, he concluded.
