The Bahamas-flagged cruise ship "ARTANIA" arrived today at the port of Paphos. It comes from Agios Nikolaos, Crete and before that it had anchored in Malta. After Pafos it will continue its journey to the Aegean Sea and the Asia Minor coast.
The cruise ship carries around 1000 passengers and 489 crew. On board are citizens mainly from Germany, Switzerland and Austria and will remain in Paphos almost the whole day. More than half have disembarked and will be guided, according to German-speaking guide Eugene Neophytou, to monasteries and archaeological sites in Pafos.
They will also be able to visit the coastal front and in the historic centre of Paphos.
