1,350 people have died so far in Cyprus, due to the coronavirus. According to the update of the Ministry of Health, one death and 1,242 cases of coronavirus were recorded this week.
Specifically:
- 1 death announced
- It concerns to:
• Female, 95 years old, who passed away on 06/04/2023
Until 06/04/2023, the following have been declared:
• 1350 deaths with COVID19 as the ultimate (underlying) cause of death
Hospitalizations:
- 50 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in SHSO hospitals. 3 in serious condition (3 intubated/0 off ventilator)
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 51,855 diagnostic tests were performed
- 1,242 new cases detected (total cases 656,904)
- Positivity rate in all tests 2.39%
