Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe and the greenest* in the world1, today celebrates the arrival of its third aircraft at its base at Larnaca Airport. With the arrival of this modern aircraft, 3 new routes will start from/to Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh.

Wizz Air continues to expand its network from Cyprus, and now operates 31 routes to 18 countries, including popular routes such as Paris, Yerevan, Vienna, Sofia, Varna, Prague, Copenhagen, Kutaisi, Athens, Thessaloniki, Budapest, Debrecen, Rome, Vilnius, Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Cluj-Napoca, Suceava, Iasi, Belgrade, London, and Bucharest. The installation of the third aircraft in Larnaca strengthens the airline's commitment to a consciously environmental operation. The airline operates one of the youngest fleets in the world with an average lifespan of 4.6 years, allowing Wizz Air to achieve its lowest annual carbon intensity in 2022, which is estimated at 55.2 grams per passenger/kilometre only.

The airline's fleet in Larnaca is exclusively Airbus A 321neo. Aircraft A 321neo has 50% reduced carbon dioxide and noise pollution emissions, while consuming 20% less fuel than previous aircraft models.
