Increased admission of patients to the hospitals of the SHSO is observed in the last 24 hours, resulting in the overcrowded wards of the Pathology and Pulmonology Clinics as well as the Intensive Care Units.
As the SHSO points out, the aggravated situation is mainly due to seasonal and other infections.
The Organization informs patients that overcrowding may result in a delay both in the service in the TAEP of all Hospitals and in the response of ambulances to non-emergency cases.
The SHSO asks for the public's understanding in case of delays and assures that its concern is to better serve all patients.
