TOURISM PAPHOS IN INTERNATIONAL ITB BERLIN EXHIBITION
The Tourism Development and Promotion Company of the Paphos Region as well as dozens of hoteliers participate this year in the international tourism exhibition ITB in Berlin which takes place from 7 to 9 March 2023.
Due to winning the title of European Capital of Smart Tourism 2023 ETAP Paphos will have the opportunity to promote the title through this event both from the exhibition space of Paphos-Cyprus and from its special stand-space European Capital of Smart Tourism granted to us free of charge by the European institution.
Germany is a high priority market and can make a decisive contribution to extension of the tourist season and attract visitors on a year-round basis. In addition to the visitors of the summer season, they present various prospects market segments such as sports tourism, special interest tourism, 55+, of environmental interest, countryside, etc.
Also in this exhibition the tourism agency and the hoteliers will have the opportunity to be informed about the final programming for 2023 and they will get a more complete picture of the forecasts regarding the flow of tourists from Germany to Paphos-Cyprus for the coming summer season.
