Members of the Office for Combating Intellectual Property Theft and Illegal Betting of the Cybercrime Sub-Directorate in cooperation with members of the Limassol OPE and the Department of Customs and Excise, carried out today inspections at an open-air market in Limassol.
During the inspections, at three points of sale, more than 1,400 pieces of various items of clothing, footwear and other items were found and seized, since according to a preliminary inspection by the Officers of the Department of Customs and Excise, these appear to be imitations in violation of the relevant legislation.
All the above were received for further by the Officers of the Limassol Department of Customs and Excise which continues the examinations.
