ETAP PAFOS IN POLAND
ETAP Pafos are in Poland for promotion of the destination as a year-round tourist destination the Tourism Development and Promotion Company of the Paphos Region implementing the plan of action for 2023 participates from 27 to 30 March 2023 in workshops/presentations in 4 cities in Poland (Warsaw, Sopot, Poznan, Wroclaw).
The organization in question is an initiative of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and this action aims to inform trade partners since over 160 travel agents are expected to attend the events.
It is noted that arrivals from the Polish market have increased drastically in recent years. In 2019, arrivals for Cyprus reached 80,000, while in 2022 they reached over 186,000 arrivals, an increase of 135%. A significant share is gained every year by Paphos while Paphos' air connection with Poland is excellent. In the winter season 2022-2023, at least 12 inbound flights are operated per week with Ryanair, from 5 Polish airports during an enhanced flight schedule has been announced for the 2023 summer season with 17 inbound flights per week from 6 Polish airports.
All the effort to participate in exhibitions and workshops, hosting tourist agents and journalists, Public Relations actions and other promotional actions are included in a wider context of the joint efforts of Pafos' agencies and entrepreneurs, of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and others, for a complete recovery of tourism and attraction visitors on a year-round basis.
