DUST HERE TO STAY FOR THE TIME BEING

Weak high pressure affects the area. Dust will be observed in the atmosphere, the concentrations of which may occasionally be elevated.

Today, periods of sunshine will initially alternate with periods of increased high clouds. Later, however, increased average and high clouds are expected. Winds will blow northeast to southeast and locally variable, weak and transient to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 26 degrees inland, south and east coasts, around 25 degrees on the west and north coasts and around 18 degrees on the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly north to northeast and locally variable, initially weak, 3 Beaufort but later on the windward coast to moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be up a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees inland and in the higher mountains, around 13 degrees on the south and east coasts and around 14 degrees on the west and north coasts.

On Friday and over the weekend, high or even medium clouds will be observed from time to time. At nights and early mornings there may be sparse fog or low cloud.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Friday, while by Sunday it is expected to fall in most areas, remaining above the average climatic values.

The height of the snow on Troodos Square, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 11 cm.
