As part of the broader effort of the State to modernize and upgrade the quality of service provided by the state to the citizens of the country, the Communication Centre 1450 will be operational on Thursday.
The Communication Centre will operate from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will act as a single point of information and service for the Social Insurance Services of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance and the Welfare Benefits Administration Service of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.
Citizens will be able to access this service as follows:
- Through the pancyprian number 1450, for calls within Cyprus (free of charge)
- Via the number +357 22 008020, for calls from abroad (with charge)
The 1450 Communication res been developed in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology Services of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, and is expected to contribute catalytically both to the optimization of citizens' service and to the enhancement of the efficiency of the Social Insurance Services and the Administration of Welfare Benefits.
It is noted that, for a period of two (2) months, the Communication Centre will operate on a pilot basis, while the training of the staff will be continuous, so as to ensure the provision of valid, up-to-date and quality information and service.
Regarding cases where additional clarifications are needed, these will be managed by the competent services and a response will be given within a reasonable time.
