Four deaths and 1,047 new coronavirus cases were announced by the Ministry of Health for the week of March 17-23, 2023.
Specifically:
4 deaths announced
- They concern:
- Man, 81 years old who passed away on 16/03/2023
- Man, 78 years old who passed away on 17/03/2023
- Man, 94 years old who passed away 18/03/2023
- Woman, 89 years old who passed away on 20/03/2023
-Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1345
Hospitalizations:
- 42 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in shsypy hospitals
- 2 in serious condition (ICU: 2 intubated, 0 off ventilator)
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 57,858 diagnostic tests were performed
- 1,047 new cases detected (total cases 654,714)
- Positivity rate in all tests 1.81%
